History of the NAAMA NextGen Scholarship
The NAAMA Next Gen Scholarship was established with the vision of supporting and nurturing the future leaders of our community. It originated in 2020 when Dr. Rouba Ali Fehmi applied for a grant from the NAAMA Foundation, securing $20,000 to award scholarships to deserving students. Dr. Ali’s dedication to this cause continued, leading to another successful grant application in 2023, this time securing $10,000.
The NAAMA Next Gen Scholarship is dedicated to identifying and supporting outstanding Next Gen students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a passion for making a positive impact in their communities. With this scholarship, we aim to provide financial assistance to deserving individuals while also offering mentorship and networking opportunities within NAAMA.
As our future leaders, recipients of the NAAMA Next Gen Scholarship represent the values and aspirations of our community. By investing in their academic journey, we hope to foster a new generation of leaders who will contribute meaningfully to both NAAMA and the field of medicine.
