Chapter Highlights
Start a Chapter
Starting a chapter is a very simple process and we will help you every step of the way! Please schedule an initial onboarding meeting and get approved to start a chapter through the form on the right!
The process of starting and maintaining a chapter is as follows:
1. Be an Organization
On the NAAMA NextGen end of things we require the following:
- An executive board consisting of at least a President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and a Social Media Chair. All executive board members must be registered as national NAAMA NextGen members.
- Annually sending your eboard contact information to national via the chapter renewal form
- EBoard Attendance at all Quarterly Meetings
- Chapter funds account
- Instagram Account
Beyond this, you must become affiliated with your academic institution and complete any student officer training if needed.
2. Host an Event
That’s right, just one event! However, our most successful chapters such as the University of Michigan host an event every week, have a mentorship program, and passive resources for members!
We’re here to support your ambitions! After the initial onboarding meeting we will share a template constitution and guides/templates for nearly every conceivable NAAMA NextGen activity!
As a NAAMA NextGen chapter you will have access to grant funding for all of your activities, a vast network of healthcare professionals, and a chapter development team who can meet with you at a moments notice for any guidance or advice!
