How NAAMA NextGen Began
NAAMA NextGen was founded in 2018 with a vision to create a dedicated space for early career Arab American healthcare professionals to connect, grow, and lead. Born from the recognition that aspiring arab american healthcare professionals needed their own platform within the broader NAAMA organization, NextGen has become a thriving community that bridges cultural identity with medical excellence.
Rouba Ali Fehmi, MD
Founder & National Chair
While serving as the national president of NAAMA, Dr. Rouba Ali-Fehmi recognized the need for a structured platform where early career professionals could develop leadership skills while maintaining strong connections within the Arab American community.
Her vision was to create both a professional network and foster a community that would continue to build strong support systems.
NAAMA NextGen National operates according to its bylaws.
